Today on Conflict Managed we are joined by Keegan Cary (she/her). Join us as we explore the world of work, discussing issues such as:
- handling angry customers and practicing transparency
- restorative justice
- mentoring young professionals
- the role of supervisors as thought partners
- the importance of detaching individuals from problems
- maintaining a relationship-centric attitude, even when mistakes occur
Keegan Cary (she/her) works as an Organizational Ombuds and has a master's degree in Conflict and Dispute Resolution. Her passion for her work as an organizational ombuds stems from her background in education. Educators provide students with the knowledge, tools, and skills to problem-solve and navigate the demands of a classroom environment and in life. As an ombuds, Keegan works with individuals to talk through their concerns and strategize possible options to address them with the goal of helping that individual feel confident in the plan they have identified for moving forward. Outside of work, Keegan likes to embroider, run, hike, and play soccer.
