Taneum Fotheringill is passionate about bringing people together and empowering community leaders—whether they identify as leaders or not. As the Director of Programs and Partnerships at Rural Assembly, she builds strong local connections that are the foundation for national narrative work supporting inclusive, rural communities. With a background in nonprofit program management, Taneum has a knack for guiding and connecting people to create meaningful community impact. Previously, at Citizen University, she supported over 120 local leaders in implementing civic engagement programs and developed strategies to strengthen their networks. She's also a proud volunteer advisor for the Washington YMCA Youth Legislature, where she helps teens from across the state engage with democracy. With degrees in Public Affairs and Humanities for Leadership from Seattle University, Taneum knows the value of pairing practical tools with human-centered ideas. Taneum enjoys collaborating with colleagues to make work life better by focusing on relationships, shared history, and thoughtful processes. When she's not working, she's likely knitting and reflecting on the threads that bind us all together.
Conflict Managed is produced by Third Party Workplace Conflict Restoration Services and hosted by Merry Brown.
